Biography
Nigel Shepherd recieved his PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Florida, and performed his postoctoral studies at the US Army Research Laboratory (Sensors and Electron Devices Directorate). He is an Associate Professor of Materials Science and Engineering at the University of North Texas, and has served as Graduate Coordinator, Interim Chair and ABET lead. He has published more than 45 papers in reputed journals and has served the community at conferences in a variety of roles including as committee chair and session chair/co-chair.
